Saakashvili's mother says People's Power's statement should be looked into

Giuli Alasania, mother of jailed ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili, on Wednesday, said the People’s Power’s statement should be looked into.

Her remark follows the movement’s statement saying that “Saakashvili’s patrons are discussing his likely death in prison, which might determine the country’s destiny.”

The statement reads that “in closed-door meetings with government figures, Saakashvili’s patrons convey the same message, which confirms that Saakashvili blackmails his patrons with specific topics.”

Alasania stressed that “it is time to put an end to baseless statements.”
