Russian and Belarusian diplomats banned from entering European Parliament

Russian and Belarussian diplomats have been banned from entering the European Parliament from today, said Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament.

“As of today, diplomatic and government staff of Russia and Belarus are banned from entering the premises of the European Parliament. There is no place in the House of Democracy for those who seek to destroy the democratic order,” she tweeted.

The President of the European Parliament also wrote that Europe stands with Ukraine.
