Russia-Ukraine talks begin at Belarus border

Russia-Ukraine talks are underway at the Belarus border.

Earlier the Ukrainian side said Ukraine’s goal for the talks was an immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of Russian forces from its territories.

Amid ongoing talks, dozens of civilians have been killed and hundreds more injured during heavy Russian shelling of the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, BBC reports.

Kharkiv has been shelled with Grads again. Civilian areas targeted deliberately.
