The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure restricted traffic on certain roads due to heavy snowfall, blizzards, and poor visibility.

The movement of trailers and semi-trailers is banned due to snow on the Mtskheta-Stephantsminda-Larsi Highway (Gudauri (Post)-Kobi section); Gomisachkhere-Chiathura-Zestafoni Highway; Kutaisi (Mozameta)-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri Highway (km 39-km 62 Nakerala Pass section); Sachkhere (Sareki)-Uzunta-Skhmeri-Zudali Highway.

Only high-terrain vehicles (with two or more driving bridges) are allowed due to intense snow and low temperature on the Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi Highway (km 36-km 47 Tetritselebi-Verona section).

All types of motor vehicle traffic are banned due to the danger of snow and avalanches on the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdil Highway (km 178-km 185 Kala-Ushguli section). Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdil Highway (km 70-km 178 Khaishi-Kala section), the movement of trailers, semi-trailers, and M3 category vehicles with more than 22 seats is prohibited. Light vehicle traffic is allowed using anti-skid chains on the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdil Highway (km 100-km 178 Lakhamula-Kala section).
