Roads Department restricts traffic across certain roads

The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure restricted traffic on certain roads due to heavy snowfall, blizzards, and poor visibility.

Traffic is banned for all transport at Paravani Pass of the Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road.

Movement is prohibitted for semi-trailers and trucks across the Nakerala Pass of the Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road. The same restriction applies to the Khashuri-Atskuri and Gomi-Sachkhere roads.

The National Environment Agency forecasts snowfall, blizzard conditions, and icy roads in Georgia on January 12-15.
