The Roads Department of the Infrastructure Ministry released updated information on the situation on roads across Georgia.

According to the National Environment Agency, the threat level is high at the Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road of international significance. Traffic movement for all types of vehicles is banned. Roads leading to Guduri are cleared.

Due to avalanche threat, heavy snowfall and poor visibility, movement of motorcars and other vehicles is restricted on Verona-Telavi, Nichbisi-Didgori-Didi Toneti, Batumi-Akhaltsikhe, Goderdzi-Utkisubani, Kala-Ushguli and Mele-Lasdili roads, and Paravani Pass.

Movement of semi-trailers and trailers is limited at Gori-Sachkhere, Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda, Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda, Akhaltsikhe-Kartsakhi, Sachkhere-Oni, Jvari-Ushguli roads and Nakerala Pass. Traffic is free on other roads.
