Roads Department completes reconstruction of 18-kilometre-long road to Bakhmaro Resort

The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure completed the reconstruction of the 18-kilometre-long road leading to Bakhmaro Resort in the Chokhatauri municipality of the western Guria region.

The project comprised the reconstruction of asphalt-concrete road cover, installation of traffic signs and arrangement of artificial buildings.

“The movement of vehicles became safe and comfortable. Travel time has also been reduced. Reconstruction works were financed with GEL 19.2 million from the state budget,” the Roads Department said.
