Rikard Jozwiak: EU parliament passed non-binding resolution rejecting Georgian parliamentary elections result

“EU parliament has overwhelmingly passed a non-binding resolution rejecting the result of Georgian parliamentary elections,” Rikard Jozwiak, editor of the European Bureau of Radio Liberty, wrote on the social network X.

As Jozwiak writes, the resolution does not recognize the results of the parliamentary elections held in Georgia.

“The EU parliament has overwhelmingly (444 for, 72 against, 82 abstentions) passed a non-binding resolution rejecting the result of Georgian parliamentary elections, calling on the international community to do the same and for the elections to be re-run within a year,” Rikard Jozwiak wrote.
