Rex Tillerson: We should reach progress in Georgia, Moldova and Nagorny Karabakh
“We should condemn Russia’s efforts to access Georgia’s regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia,” Rex Tillerson, US Secretary of State said during his speech delivered at the sitting of OSCE Ministers’ Council.
According to Tillerson, progress has to be reached in Georgia, Moldova and Nagorny Karabakh to resolve territorial conflicts. “We support Minsk negotiations in 5+2 format,” he said.
Russia vetoed admission of OSCE mission in occupied territories after August 2008 Georgia-Russia war. The Minsk negotiations have been held since 2005 with participation of Transdnestr, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, OSCE, European Union and US observers.
