The Revenue Service has launched a fact-finding investigation regarding the rental of real estate owned by Mamuka Khazaradze’s family to the German Ambassador.
The Revenue Service has stated that the rental of real estate owned by Mamuka Khazaradze’s family was made to the German Ambassador. According to the statement, analysis of the matter revealed possible tax law violations, prompting the Revenue Service to begin investigating the facts.
“Considering the high public interest, we want to provide the public with information about the possible tax evasion by Mamuka Khazaradze’s family when allegedly renting out their real estate property to the German Ambassador to Georgia, Ernst Peter Fischer.
Following information circulated in the public space, analysis of this matter revealed possible tax law violations, which is why the Revenue Service has already begun investigating the facts, and tax control measures defined by law will be implemented to fully study the information,” the Revenue Service statement reads.
