Restaurants and food facilities in Georgia are allowed to serve guests only outdoor on weekends from this week. Giorgi Ghibradze, Head of the Task Force operating at the Interagency Coordination Council, announced at a briefing held at the Government Administration on Monday.
Catering facilities should observe coronavirus-related recommendations, including a mandatory thermal screening, the distance between tables, disinfection works, and many others.
Restaurants reopened on March 1 in the Black Sea resort town of Batumi and later in other cities too. However, ood facilities were not allowed to serve the guests on weekends.
The Inter-Agency Coordination Council continues to monitor the epidemic trends and will decide on further easing from June 1 if the situation gets stabilized.
