Rescuers searching for two missing people in Mestia, Lentekhi

Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on Thursday, said the rescuers were searching for two missing people in Mestia and Lentekhi for the second day.

Meteorological conditions prevent the border police helicopter from participating in the rescue mission, as stated by the agency.

“The information regarding the incident was received in the public security management center 112 on July 24, after which the search operation started immediately,” the statement said.
