Renovated Turkgozu checkpoint on Georgia-Turkey border officially opens
The renovated Turkgozu customs checkpoint on the Georgia-Turkey border, located on the border side of the Vale customs checkpoint, has officially opened.
A Georgian delegation, led by Finance Deputy Minister Giorgi Kakauridze, attended the event. Vladimer Khundadze, Deputy Head of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, Zurab Sichinava, Head of the Customs Department, and other department heads attended the event.
The Georgian delegation, together with their Turkish counterparts, viewed the updated infrastructure and familiarized themselves with the customs control procedures at the checkpoint.
