Today marks a very difficult day for the GPB First Channel and the news program Moambe team, as it has been one year since the passing of our friend and colleague, Giorgi Koberidze.

Giorgi lost his battle with a serious illness, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, warmth, and inspiration not only for his colleagues but for the entire Georgian media community. In his time with us, he made a lasting impact, earning a special place in the hearts of all who knew him. Even in the most challenging moments, Giorgi encouraged those around him and faced his own struggles with courage and determination.

Audiences remember Giorgi for his reporting on events both in Georgia and abroad. Yet to his friends and colleagues, Giorgi was something entirely different—smiling, full of life, and brimming with humor. We lost our best friend, and Georgian media lost a dedicated, passionate journalist who stood by his colleagues, earned unconditional love, and will never be forgotten.
