Rehabilitation works in Metekhi Tunnel extended

The extension of the Metekhi tunnel rehabilitation works timeline leads to traffic restrictions in Tbilisi. According to Tbilisi City Hall, from October 31 to November 30, traffic will be restricted on Rike between 00:00 and 06:00.

During this period, traffic restrictions will apply from the area near the Peace Bridge, the intersection of Mtkvari’s left bank and Nikoloz Baratashvili Bridge to Mtkvari’s left bank and Ialbuzi Street intersection.

Cars travelling from the left bank of Mtkvari (through the tunnel) toward Ialbuzi Street will only be allowed to move in the direction of Europe Square.
