Registration for Tbilisi nurseries to open on July 6
Registration for Tbilisi’s public nurseries for the 2026–2027 academic year will commence on July 6.
Speaking at a municipal cabinet meeting, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced that the registration process will be conducted in three stages via the Kindergarten Management Agency’s website, kids.org.ge.
“Registration for children will be handled electronically and will begin in July. The process will run across three stages on the Kindergarten Management Agency’s portal. The first stage will open on July 6 at 10:00 and will run until midnight on July 12. During this initial phase, registration will be reserved exclusively for specific priority groups. These priority groups include: Children from socially vulnerable families registered in Tbilisi; Children with special educational needs (SEN); Beneficiaries of the Tbilisi Infant House; Children of registered single parents in Tbilisi; Children of registered parents with large families (multiple children) in Tbilisi; Children of military personnel; Siblings of children already enrolled in the nursery; Children of nursery staff members,” Kakha Kaladze noted.
The second stage of enrollment is scheduled to open at 10:00 on July 13 and will remain available until midnight on July 19.
“The second phase will be open to all children registered within the Tbilisi municipality. Following this, the third stage will launch at 10:00 on July 20. This will be the general enrollment phase, meaning that any child aged between two and six will be eligible to register for Tbilisi’s public nurseries, regardless of their place of registration,” the Mayor explained.
Kaladze added that parents and guardians seeking more comprehensive details regarding the registration process can find further guidance through the Tbilisi Kindergarten Management Agency or by contacting the Tbilisi City Hall helpline.
