The list of reference prices of pharmaceutical products has been expanded. According to the Health Ministry, over 2,300 medicines fall under the list.
In particular, antihypertensive, anticoagulant, antihistaminic, antibiotic, gastrointestinal, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory drugs were added to existing chronic and oncological drugs.
“The reform aims to provide citizens with maximum access to medicines. Prices will be slashed by 40% on average, ” the Health Ministry said.
