Reconstruction of Georgian Estate in Leuville completed

Large-scale reconstruction works at the Georgian Estate in Leuville have been completed.

The Georgian government financed and implemented the works.

The completion of 10-year-long works at the estate, where Georgian cultural heritage takes on new life, will be solemnly marked this evening.

The will of the First Democratic Republic’s government is fulfilled. Prime Minister, Parliament Speaker, representatives of the government and the Diplomatic Corps, as well as descendants of the First Democratic Republic government will attend the event.

The estate, expanded to over 5 hectares of territory, comprises a chateau, a library and a park with an orchard, grapes and the Georgian Oda, representing an integral part of Georgian identity.

Leuville, as an estate belonging to the Georgian people, was transferred to Georgian administration in 2016.
