Re-export of US, EU-imported cars to Russia, Belarus via Georgia banned, Revenue Service says

The re-export of cars imported from the US to Russia and Belarus was prohibited from the territory of Georgia from August 1 as per the sanctions imposed by the US and the European Union, the Revenue Service told GPB First Channel on Wednesday.

On top of that, the re-export of cars imported from the European Union to Russia and Belarus will be banned from September 26, as provided for by the 11th package of imposed sanctions against Russia, the Revenue Service added.
