The National Environment Agency forecasts rain and lightning across Georgia on October 9-11.

A 3-4 magnitude storm is expected to hit the coastal regions of Georgia, the agency noted.

According to the forecast, the anticipated heavy rainfall might result in flooding on minor rivers, a major rise in water levels on Georgia’s rivers, and the activation of landslide-flood processes in mountainous regions.
