The National Environmental Agency has released the weather forecast for Georgia for August 27–29.

According to the agency, some regions will experience rain on August 27, while hot and mostly dry weather is expected on August 28–29.

Tbilisi: Hot and dry weather is expected, with daytime temperatures ranging from +33°C to +35°C.

Coastal regions (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti): Light, short-term rain with thunderstorms is possible on August 27. On August 28–29, mostly dry weather is expected, with daytime temperatures of +28°C to +30°C.

Lowland regions of Western Georgia (Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti): Light, short-term rain with thunderstorms may occur on August 27. Hot and mostly dry weather is forecast for August 28–29, with daytime temperatures between +31°C and +33°C.

Mountainous regions of Western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass): Light, short-term rain with thunderstorms is possible on August 27. Hot and mostly dry weather is expected on August 28–29, with daytime temperatures ranging from +28°C to +33°C.

Mountainous regions of Western Georgia (Mestia, Bakhmaro): Light, short-term rain with thunderstorms may occur on August 27. Mostly dry weather is expected on August 28–29, with daytime temperatures between +25°C and +30°C.

Kartli (Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali): Hot and mostly dry weather is forecast, with daytime temperatures of +33°C to +35°C.

Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro): Hot and mostly dry weather is expected, with daytime temperatures ranging from +33°C to +35°C.

Mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri): Hot and mostly dry weather is forecast, with daytime temperatures between +28°C and +33°C.

Mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo): Mostly dry weather is expected, with daytime temperatures of +23°C to +28°C.
