The public funeral of Georgian poet Jansug Charkviani is ongoing at Holy Trinity Cathedral since 11:00.

The friends, relatives and politicians have expressed their condolences to the family.

Jansug Charkviani will be buried at Mtatsminda Pantheon of Writers and Public Figures at 14:00 today. He died at the age of 86 on November 6, after several months of illness.
