Public Defender does not comment on facts of the attack GPB by the leaders of "European Georgia"

Public Defender Nino Lomjaria does not comment on facts of the attack on Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) by the leaders of “European Georgia” Party.

GPB contacted Press Service of Public Defender’s Office, which said that no comment would be made into the facts. The Ombudsman herself did not respond to the calls or SMS of journalists.

Journalists of GPB have become the targets of menacing, intimidation and accusations from some oppositional leaders for already three times for the last one week.

Georgian Public Broadcaster released a statement and applied to representations of international organizations, Diplomatic Corps and European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
