Protesters and police slightly confront near parliament

There was a minor confrontation between the protesters and the police near the side entrance of the parliament building in Chichinadze Street. The protesters are chanting at people entering the parliament building, trying to get closer. The police push the protesters back from the roadway.

The participants protest against holding the first session of the new parliament. They say the Parliament of the 10th Convocation does not have confidence, the elections were rigged, Georgian First Channel correspondent reported from the spot.

Law enforcers are mobilized for security reasons. Opposition parties plan to renounce their mandates.
