Prosecutor’s Offices of Georgia and Saudi Arabia sign memorandum of cooperation

Within the official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prosecutor General of Georgia Giorgi Gvarakidze held an official meeting with the Attorney General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mujib.

During the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Prosecutor General’s Office of Georgia and the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, covering cooperation in the fight against crime, terrorism and its financing, as well as money laundering.

As part of the visit, Giorgi Gvarakidze and members of the Georgian delegation also met with Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari, Secretary General of the Global Center for Countering Extremist Ideology, at the Center’s headquarters.

In addition, the Prosecutor General of Georgia held a meeting with Brigadier General Omar bin Aida Al-Talhi, Commander of the National Security Operations Center.
