Prosecutor’s Office to tighten law on violence against animals

Georgian Prosecutor’s Office jointly with the parliament will tighten the law on violence and torture of animals.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office the package of legislative amendments the punitive measures will become stricter and aims to prevent the crime.

It will also launch an information campaign in Tbilisi and the regions together with interested institutions and non-governmental organizations.
