Prosecutor's Office appeals to court with a motion to impose preventive measure to Ilia Jishkariani

After filing the charges against Ilia Jishkariani, a member of Tbilisi Sakrebulo (City Assembly), the General Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia appeals to the court with a motion to impose a preventive measure.

The prosecutor’s office has not yet specified what type of preventive measure the prosecution will require. It is not yet known when the court session will take place.

Jishkariani, as Majoritarian (single mandate) deputy from Isani district, was charged for sexual and physical assault of Tamta Todadze, a specialist of Isani Representative Office on September 30, 2019.
