Prosecutor General meets Head of FBI Tbilisi Office

Georgia’s Prosecutor General Giorgi Gvarakidze met with the head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) office in Tbilisi, Alex Tiguy, the Georgian Prosecutor’s Office reported.

The meeting, held at the Prosecutor’s Office, was attended by Deputy Prosecutor General Amiran Guluashvili, Head of the International Relations Department Giorgi Mikava, as well as representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia and the Embassy of the United States in Georgia.

During the meeting, Alex Tiguypresented Prosecutor General Gvarakidze with a letter of appreciation from FBI Director, recognizing the successful cooperation between the two institutions.

The parties also reviewed the main areas of cooperation between the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia and the FBI and discussed prospects for further strengthening and expanding their partnership.
