Prosecutor General of Georgia Giorgi Gvarakidze met with the newly elected Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, Irakli Kandashvili.

During the meeting, Gvarakidze congratulated Kandashvili on his election and wished him success in his new role.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the sides discussed formats for institutional cooperation between the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Georgian Bar Association, including the exchange of professional experience and opportunities to improve the qualifications of lawyers and prosecutors. The discussion also emphasized the importance of the legal profession and its role in ensuring quality and reliable justice.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue active and constructive cooperation, aimed at strengthening the justice system and developing professional standards.
