Giorgi Gabitashvili, the candidate for the position of Prosecutor General, addressed the Legal Issues Committee, having outlined his vision for the further development of the prosecutor’s office and addressed the existing challenges.

“I have served as the Deputy Prosecutor General for 11 years. I fully understand the significance of this post, the intricacies and the immense responsibility it comes with towards the state, citizens, and the staff of the Prosecutor’s Office. I seek your support and hope to have the opportunity to carry on the steady and forward-thinking development of the system alongside a professional team if elected to the position of Prosecutor General,” said Giorgi Gabitashvili.

Giorgi Gabitashvili’s candidacy for Prosecutor General was selected through a vote held on July 11 in the Prosecutor’s Council, where he received the support of 11 members.
