Producer and author of numerous GPB First Channel programs Mzia Lomtadidze passes away

Mzia Lomtadidze, a producer of the First Channel of the Georgian Public Broadcaster and author of numerous television programs, has died.

For decades, Lomtadidze worked in the First Channel’s educational and entertainment programs, children’s programming, literary and drama departments, as well as the theatrical division of the creative association “Art.” She served as a producer of various television projects.

In recent years, she created and produced programs including “Old Poster” and “Hopla, We Are Alive.”

Many programs produced under her authorship are preserved in the GPB First Channel’s Golden Archive, safeguarding unique audiovisual materials for generations.

The Georgian Public Broadcaster expressed condolences over the death of its distinguished employee, Mzia Lomtadidze, and extended sympathy to her family, relatives, and colleagues.
