Procession held in Tbilisi for Day of Family Purity and Respect for Parents [Photo/Video]

The procession is taking place in Tbilisi to mark the Day of Family Purity and Respect for Parents.
Clergy and parishioners gathered at 10:00 a.m. at Kashveti St. George Church and then proceeded in a solemn prayer procession toward the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi.
At the cathedral, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Archbishop of Mtskheta-Tbilisi, and Metropolitan of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia Shio III is expected to lead the first festive liturgy.
The service is being attended by delegations from various churches, as well as representatives of the Georgian government.
