Procedural Affairs Committee Chair urges partners to realize that verbal abuse and so-called “creative work” that insults public are unacceptable to Georgian people

“The society will never accept either similar-form funded concerts or so-called artisans, who abuse over 1.5 million of the Georgian population and insult them,” said Davit Matikashvili, Chairman of the parliamentary Procedural Affairs Committee.

According to Matikashvili, it would be good if partners realized that verbal abuse is unacceptable to the Georgian people.

“The EU Embassy called verbal abuse the freedom of expression. It is inconceivable that this situation bears any resemblance to adequacy. The society will never accept either similar-form funded concerts or so-called artisans, who abuse over 1.5 million of the Georgian population and insult them.
