Prime Minister of Georgia holds high-level talks with Singaporean President

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has met with the President of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

According to the press service of the Georgian Government Administration, the discussion focused on the vast potential to further expand trade, economic, and investment ties, as well as strengthening political and cultural relations.

The meeting highlighted Georgia’s favourable business environment and attractive investment opportunities. Prime Minister Kobakhidze reaffirmed the Georgian Government’s readiness to deepen cooperation with Singapore’s leading financial institutions and investment funds.

The two leaders also explored potential collaboration in tourism and innovation, emphasising the importance of unlocking the full potential of these sectors.

Both parties expressed confidence that this high-level visit will mark the beginning of a new chapter in bilateral relations.

Closing the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the President of Singapore for his country’s steadfast support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
