Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to attend UN Biodiversity Conference COP17 in Yerevan

Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will participate in the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) in Yerevan on 15–16 October, at the invitation of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The Head of Government will deliver an address at the Leaders’ Summit scheduled as part of the conference and will also take part in the official opening ceremony.

According to the Government Administration, Irakli Kobakhidze departed for Yerevan, leading an official delegation that includes Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Davit Songulashvili and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
