Presidential administration: Parliament rejects admission of diplomatic corps, president's representatives in court to impeachment discussion
Despite the request, the Parliament rejected to admit the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia and the president’s representatives in the Constitutional Court to the impeachment discussion, said the presidential administration in its statement.
“The presidential administration objects to the fact that the parliament plans to conduct such a significant process as the president’s impeachment hearing as an ordinary working format,” it said.
The Parliament will discuss the impeachment of President Salome Zourabichvili on October 18. Discussion will begin at 12 p.m.
