Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili held a meeting with the leader of the United National Movement (UNM), Nika Melia, on Monday.
Remarking on the Georgian President’s recent initiative, aiming to reconcile various political parties in Georgia to end polarization, Melia pledged to back “the civil accord as a process that should have a chance.”
UNM Chair believes President Zourabichvili has “a very correct vision” over the current developments in the country. “She has a historic chance. I think she can play a crucial role in this process.”
Melia stressed that “political justice must end in the country. Until it is unsolved, the situation will not change.”
