Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili praises and fully supports the proposal of the Justice Ministry to transfer jailed ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili to the hospital.
President Zourabichvili believes that the state should take all measures to ensure the ex-President’s health so that questions do not arise within the country or abroad.
“It is about reputation and image of the country, which requires transparency, great caution and observation to ensure that his health is protected as much as possible,” reads the statement by the presidential administration.
Georgian Minister of Justice Rati Bregadze offered ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili to transfer him to the Vivamedi Clinic.
