Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Monday echoed the “terrible news of bombing of Kyiv and other cities.”
In her tweet, the President said, “an indiscriminate attack on civilians meant to destroy, to instill fear. But the world has seen the determination of the Ukrainian nation.”
Zourabichvili stressed, “all of Georgia stands with Ukraine.”
The Ukrainian capital Kyiv and other cities across the country, including Lviv, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, have been targeted by missile strikes on Monday morning, killing civilians and destroying critical infrastructure.
Ukraine’s commander-in-chief Valery Zaluzhny says Russia has fired 75 missiles at targets in Ukraine so far and that the attack is ongoing.
The attacks comes two days after the only bridge linking Russia with occupied Crimea was damaged in a blast.
