President urges for tightening control on borders

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili says that state borders should be tightly controlled given the possible new wave of migrants from Russia.

“Monitoring closely the events unfolding in Russia. Our border has to be tightly controlled in view of possible new waves of migration,” President tweeted.

Yevgeny Prigozhin, a bombastic chief of the private mercenary group Wagner, who spent months railing against the Russian top military officials blaming for Moscow’s faltering invasion of Ukraine, marched his troops in Russia’s several cities.
