President of Kazakhstan highlights Kazakhstan’s commitment to modernising Trans-Caspian ports
“We possess significant potential in the realm of transport and connectivity between the West and the East,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, made this statement during his speech at the plenary session of the international forum “Peace and Trust: Shared Goals for a Sustainable Future” in Turkmenistan.
He emphasised that Kazakhstan places great importance on the modernisation of Trans-Caspian ports.
“We are fostering favourable conditions for long-term projects. Additionally, we have considerable potential in enhancing transport links between the West and the East. We are actively engaged in developing transport systems alongside Russia, China, Iran, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia,” added President Tokayev.
