President of Azerbaijan – Nagorno-Karabakh is Azerbaijan

“Nagorno-Karabakh is Azerbaijan and I put a full stop here,” President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at Valdai forum in Sochi resort of Russia.

Aliyev thus responded to Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia who said that Nagorno-Karabakh was the territory of Armenia.

Azerbaijani President said that there were no such people as people of Nagorno-Karabakh but there were locals of Nagorno-Karabakh consisting of ethnic Armenians and Azerbaijanis.

“As for which decision is acceptable for Azerbaijan, this is the restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and the return of IDPs,” Aliyev said.

On September 30, the 16th Annual Meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club began in Russia’s Sochi city. The topic of the meeting is “The Dawn of the East and the World Political Order”. The agenda of the meeting includes issues about the influence of the East on the world order.
