Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili nominated former Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Natia Turnava for the post of a member of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) Council.
Parliament’s First Vice-Speaker Gia Volski said at the Bureau sitting that the parliamentary Finance-Budgetary Committee would discuss the issue, while the Branch Economy and Economic Policy Committee would have to present a compulsory conclusion.
Natia Turnava was the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development from 2019 to 2021. She has Doctorate Degree in Economic Sciences. Turnava is the author of 40 scientific works, articles, and one monograph and is the co-author of two books.
