President meets US Assistant Secretary of State

A meeting between the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, and  the US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, James C. O’Brien, took place at the Presidential Administration.

The face-to-face meeting lasted an hour and a half longer than initially scheduled.

“Due to the one-and-a-half-hour extension of the face-to-face meeting, the extended format meeting of the President and the US Assistant Secretary of State, accompanied by delegations, was cancelled,” the statement said.
