President meets opposition leaders

The President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili is holding meetings with the opposition leaders at the Orbeliani Palace.

Following the meeting with the leaders of the “Strong Georgia” coalition, Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze, the President is holding meeting with the leaders of “Coalition for Change”, Nika Gvaramia and Elene Khoshtaria. They did not comment to the media before the meeting.

Khazaradze told the journalists that the main topic of conversation was the idea of forming the “People’s Parliament”.

“We introduced this idea to the president. I left the meeting very satisfied.

The President will hold a briefing and I don’t want to comment before that” he added.
