President meets local government representatives in Mestia

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili met with representatives of the local government in Mestia on Saturday.

The meeting discussed the importance of sustainable development and infrastructure projects in the Svaneti region for promoting tourism.

First stop on the President’s visit of Svaneti: meeting with Mestia Mayor Kapiton Zhorzholiani to talk sustainable tourism, infrastructure, and promoting the Svan language.
