President Kavelashvili to present annual report to Parliament on February 17
Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili will present his annual report to Parliament on Tuesday, February 17, during the next sessional week.
The announcement was made by Speaker of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili at today’s session of the Parliament Bureau.
“According to the regulations of the Parliament of Georgia, the first plenary session of the spring term usually features the President’s annual report. The date may be adjusted in agreement with the Speaker. Following consultations with the President and considering the scheduled visit of the Prime Minister next week, it was agreed that the President’s report will be delivered during the next sessional week, on Tuesday, February 17. On this day, no other issues will be discussed at the plenary session, as the President’s report will be the sole and important agenda item,” Papuashvili said.
