President Kavelashvili meets with Armenian President

President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili has held a meeting with the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan.

During their face-to-face discussions, they explored the bilateral relationship between Georgia and Armenia, as well as the prospects for cooperation across various sectors.

The leaders addressed current political developments, emphasising the importance of preserving peace and stability in the region amid a rapidly changing international landscape.

The President of Georgia expressed gratitude for Armenia’s support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

As Mikheil Kavelashvili highlighted during the meeting, Georgia welcomes the initialling of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Georgia also remains firmly committed to fostering peace and stability in the South Caucasus and is ready to continue offering support as needed.

The meeting took place at the Presidential Palace.
