Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili held an expanded meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, the Administration of the President of Georgia reported.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and explored ways to deepen cooperation across various fields. They also reviewed global developments and focused on shared geopolitical challenges facing both countries.
“The discussion included promoting inter-parliamentary dialogue. The establishment of a friendship group with Georgia in the Serbian Parliament was highlighted as an important step for activating inter-parliamentary engagement,” the Administration stated.
The meeting was attended by members of the Georgian delegation, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Members of Parliament Irakli Mezurnishvili, Irma Zavradashvili, and Guram Macharashvili, Georgian Ambassador to Serbia Levan Beridze, and representatives of the Presidential Administration.
