President Kavelashvili meets Azerbaijani PM

As part of his official visit to Baku, the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov.

According to the President’s press service, the two leaders discussed key areas of the strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan, highlighting successful cooperation across various sectors, including regional and international multilateral formats.

The meeting focused on deepening trade and economic ties and advancing joint regional projects. Special attention was given to the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor, particularly in enhancing cargo transportation. Both sides emphasized the need to maintain peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

President Kavelashvili also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Asadov for Azerbaijan’s steadfast support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
